AVANTECHNO facing heads are designed for machining flat surfaces perpendicular to the axis of the bore. They are used for facing operations on components after restoration with AVANTECHNO mobile boring and welding systems, ensuring precise surface finishing and geometric accuracy.

Facing operations are typically performed after boring and welding to restore proper seating surfaces, ensure correct assembly contact, and achieve the required flatness and surface quality of the reconditioned area.

Facing heads are available in two versions, matched to the corresponding boring bar systems:

• Facing Head D40 — for Ø40 mm boring bar (AVANTECHNO 411)
• Facing Head D60 — for Ø60 mm boring bar (AVANTECHNO 611)
