Automated filling and weighing
Automated filling and weighing machines for packaging powder coatings into cartons with PE liners.
The F21 and F31 combine carton feeding, positioning and filling by weight with a roller conveyor and a separate check-weighing station. Both models use the same filling process, with different conveyor lengths and capacities for empty cartons.

THE FILLING
CYCLE
The operator prepares cartons with PE liners and sets the target filling weight and check-weighing limits. The machine then repeats the feeding and filling cycle.
01 / FEED →
Prepared empty cartons are placed on the belt conveyor and fed towards the filling station.
02 / POSITION →
The carton is positioned on the main scales beneath the dosing valve. The weighing controller automatically tares the new carton.
03 / FILL →
Powder flows by gravity through the open dosing valve. The main weighing controller measures the filling weight and closes the valve when the set value is reached.
04 / TRANSFER →
The pneumatic transfer mechanism moves the filled carton onto the roller conveyor. The next empty carton is fed to the main scales and the cycle repeats.
05 / CHECK
The operator checks the filled carton on the separate check scales. Yellow, green and red signals show whether the weight is below, within or above the preset tolerance, allowing correction before closing the liner and carton.
Automatic cycle: position → fill → transfer → next carton. Final check-weighing and any weight correction are carried out by the operator.

ON THE PRODUCTION FLOOR
Before designing the F-Series, we visited powder coating plants and spoke with engineers, production managers and operators about their day-to-day experience with filling equipment. These discussions helped us identify where weighing, carton handling, dust and access to controls made the job unnecessarily difficult.
The design details below reflect what we learned — practical solutions shaped by the way the machines are actually used.
